PART 6 (2017)
2 February 2017 - We celebrated the four year anniversary of the historic day when Dhruv Bhai completed writing the longest commentary of the Bhagavad Gita and Hanuman Chalisa in history. In total the length of the commentary is 3,321 pages, over 1.6 million words and over 9.6 million characters.
7 February 2017 - We celebrated the one year anniversary of Dhruv Bhai completing his 20th and 21st books including the longest commentary on the Shree Suktam in history and the Symbolism of Hindu Goddesses and Gods. After five years of writing, Dhruv Bhai completed writing 21 books on the Bhagavad Gita, Hanuman Chalisa, Shree Suktam and the Symbolism of Hindu Goddesses and Gods consisting of 3,467 pages, over 2.4 million words and over 10.5 million characters between them.
7 February 2017 - SHYAM reached 300,000 fans on facebook.
3 March 2017 - Dhruv Bhai presented with an honoury medallion by the British Parliament for his services to protect Dharma following the occasion of the 350th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh.
8 March 2017 - The speakers of SHYAM attended the spectacular Holi celebrations in the Durbar Court at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office at an event hosted by Alok Sharma MP, the UK Minister for Asia and the Pacific.
8 March 2017 - Dhruv Bhai presents a copy of the Hanuman Chalisa book to Alok Sharma MP and to Abigail Bentinck of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
14 March 2017 -Dhruv Bhai meets the Duke of Gloucester and the Nepalese Ambassador to the UK at the Kensington Palace Gardens during celebrations to mark 200 years of bilateral relations between Nepal and the UK.
18 March 2017 - Dhruv Bhai meets Dr Subramanian Swamy.
19 March 2017 - Dhruv Bhai presented a copy of the English commentary of the Hanuman Chalisa to Lord Popat.

3 April 2017 - Dhruv Bhai was presented with an honoury Gurkha Kukri sword on the seventh night of Chaitra Navratri by Nepalese community leaders for his services to protect Dharma
19 April 2017 - Riddhi Ben gives an Introductory talk on the Bhagavad Gita to the Sudbury Hindu Association.
17 May 2017 - Riddhi Ben gives a talk on the Secrets of Success to Career Management we can learn from the Hanuman Chalisa to the Sudbury Hindu Association.
9 June 2017 - Dhruv Bhai is a guest of the Parliament of World Religions in Chicago and pays tribute to Swami Vivekananda at the same place where Swami Ji gave His historic “Sisters and Brothers of America” speech at the Art Institute of Chicago on 11 September 1893.
10 July 2017 - Dhruv Bhai became the first person in history to recite the Ramayan at the British Parliament on the auspicious occassion of Guru Purnima.
10 July 2017 - Dhruv Bhai's recital of the Ramayan at the British Parliament was attended by several Members of Parliament and the presidents or chairpersons of over 27 national Hindu organisations.
10 July 2017 - Dhruv Bhai's recital of the Ramayan at the British Parliament had 300 registered attendees and over 200 people on the waiting list, such was the demand behind and popularity of this historic talk and to learning from the depth of Dhruv Bhai's wisdom on the Ramayan.
10 July 2017 - Dhruv Bhai's recital of the Ramayan at the British Parliament was hosted by Bob Blackman MP, organised by Lakshmi Ben and attended by Michael Ellis MP, Deputy Leader of the House of Commons, as well as Matthew Offord MP, Richard Harrington MP, Royston Smith MP and David Tredinnick MP.
10 July 2017 - Dhruv Bhai said "Dear friends, words cannot describe the historical feat that has been accomplished this evening at the British Parliament and the incredible experience of being present here in the room with you all. Together we have achieved what nobody has ever done before. This historic event with the blessings of Hanuman Ji has united the Hindu community in a way that nobody thought would be possible."
10 July 2017 - Bob Blackman MP and Michael Ellis MP launched the Shrimad Bhagavad English commentary and were both presented with the book by Dhruv Bhai.
14 July 2017 Dhruv Bhai gave a talk on the Lessons of Peace and Contentment we can learn from Bhagavan Shiva to the Metropolitan Police at New Scotland Yard.
15 July 2017 - Celebrating six years since our first Dharmic talk in the City given by Dhruv Bhai.
21 July 2017 - Celebrating the two year anniversary of the launch of the Gita Gnyan Maha Yagna on social media where the SHYAM teachers have been sharing verses of the Bhagavad Gita, Hanuman Chalisa and Shree Suktam every day on our facebook page and whatsapp groups.

15 October 2017 - Dhruv Bhai's Diwali message was published alongside that of the British Prime Minister in the magazine for Light Up London: Diwali at the London Eye 2017. The magazine was distributed to all those we attended the special inaugural ceremony of Light Up London: Diwali at the London Eye 2017.
15 October 2017 - Dhruv Bhai attended the first ever lighting up of the London Eye in Rangoli colours for the festival of Diwali attended by MPs, Lords, movie directors, TV stars and musicians including Bob Blackman MP, Lord Gadhia, Lord Popat, Gurinder Chaddha, Meera Syal and others.
16 October 2017 - Dhruv Bhai was invited to 10 Downing Street by British Prime Minister Theresa May for a special reception to celebrate Diwali.
23 October 2017 - Eleven of SHYAM's speakers, performers, photographers and volunteers made history by holding a historic celebration of the Shree Suktam of the Rig Veda at the British Parliament.

23 October 2017 - SHYAM’s 2017 Diwali celebrations at the British Parliament were attended by over 200 people including the chairpersons of over 35 national Indian organisations and community leaders from eight different religious backgrounds.
23 October 2017 - SHYAM’s 2017 Diwali celebrations at the British Parliament involved two hours of talks on eight mantras of the Shree Suktam.
23 October 2017 - The proceedings began with a powerful recital and introduction to the Shree Suktam of the Rig Veda by Dhruv Bhai, who left the audience captivated by the beautiful mantras in devotion to Maa Lakshmi.
23 October 2017 - Dhruv Bhai explained how the Shree Suktam has been around for thousands of years and is a proven formula for the invitation, creation, preservation and cultivation of Maha Lakshmi (the Goddess of wealth).
23 October 2017 - Riddhi Ben spoke wonderfully about how permanent wealth is attained by seeing Lakshmi as a Mother and the key factors that are necessary to attain and cultivate wealth as revealed by the Shree Suktam.
23 October 2017 - Vishal Bhai then gave an inspirational talk on the seven main qualities of Lakshmi and the inner changes one needs to make in order to create inner prosperity, drawing from the deep wisdom of our ancient Rishis.
23 October 2017 - Dhruv Bhai then beautifully explained the symbolism of Lakshmi, in particular the lotus and the elephants, and what they mean spiritually from a Yogic perspective.

23 October 2017 - Bob Blackman MP, who was so kind to host this event and give this wonderful opportunity to our talented speakers, then gave an insightful speech about the importance of spreading the spiritual message of Diwali and what it means in contemporary times.
23 October 2017 - Bob Blackman was presented with a copy of a book on the great Indian king Shivaji Maharaj by Dhruv Bhai.
23 October 2017 - Lakshmi Ben then spoke about the effectiveness of the Bilva and other Indian plants and herbs for curing many ailments including allergies, and how the effects of this was seen in ancient India where people did not even know what an allergy is.
23 October 2017 - Lord Gadhia then inspired the audience with a beautiful talk about the deep meaning behind the festival of Diwali that you can only transform the world if you transform individual human beings spiritually by awakening their light within.
23 October 2017 - Lord Popat wonderfully spoke about the role of the Indian community in the UK and how much it has contributed to British society and the British way of life.

23 October 2017 - We have made history yet again by completing discourses in English on the six scriptures of the Bhagavad Gita, Ramayan, Hanuman Chalisa, the Shrimad Bhagavad, Devi Mahatmaya and Shree Suktam at over 290 talks in the City and spreading them on social media to over 340,000 fans in 161 countries around the world.
23 October 2017 - We have now covered talks on all the main Hindu Goddess and Gods including Ganesh, Hanuman, Ram, Shiva, Krushna, Durga, Maha Kali, Mahi Lakshmi and Maha Saraswati at nine Diwali celebrations over a period of six years.

4 November 2017 - The Garavi Gujarat newspaper published an article on SHYAM’s Diwali celebrations 2017 at the British Parliament.
5 November 2017 - Historic completion of our third historic Gita Gnyan Maha Yagna after 2 years and 3 months on 5 November 2017. Every day for 840 days our 28 Bhagavad Gita class teachers shared the commentary of all 700 verses of the Bhagavad Gita and our 140 classes to over 340,000 people in 161 countries around the world on facebook and our 29 whatsapp groups.

17 November 2017 - Monica Ben and Riddhi Ben spoke at the Gandhi Hall of the Indian High Commission at an Indian Women’s Empowerment Event jointly hosted by the High Commission of India and the organisation Inspiring Indian Women.
11 December 2017 - The Bhagavad Gita was recited for the first time in history at the British Parliament by Dhruv Bhai.
11 December 2017 - The House of Lords celebrated the completion of our third Gita Gnyan Maha Yagna by 28 of our Bhagavad Gita teachers.

19 December 2017 - The book was launched on 16 December 2017 in Delhi with Indian Minister of External Affairs Hon. Smt. Sushma Swaraj and members of the Indian Government.
19 December 2017 - The book was used to advise the Indian Government in developing policy to shape the engagement of India and the Indian Diaspora, and will be given to all Chief Ministers and Government officials in India.
