O Lord Ganesha of large body, curved trunk, with the brilliance of a million suns, please make all my work free of obstacles- always. Aum Peace be! peace be! peace be!
Yā kundendutuṣārahāradhavalā yā shubhravastrāvṛutā
yā vīṇāvaradaṇḍamanḍitakarā yā shvetapadmāsanā
yā Brahmāchyutashankara prabhṛutibhi
devaiḥ sadā vanditā
sā mā pātu sarasvatī Bhagavatī
niḥsheṣa jāḍyāpaha
May Goddess Saraswatī,
who is fair like the Jasmine coloured moon and whose pure white garland is like frosty dew drops, who is adorned with radiant white clothes
and on whose beautiful palm and arm rests the Veena,
whose throne is a white lotus, and who is surrounded and
respected by Gods beginning with Lord Brahmā, Lord Vishnu and
Lord Mahesh, protect me. I beseech Her to totally
remove my laziness and slugishness totally.
Shuklām brahmavichāra sāra paramām
adyām jagadvyāpinīm
vīnā pustakadhārirīm abhayadām
jādyāndhakārāpahām
Haste spātikmālikām vidhadhitim
padmāsane samsthitām
vande tām Parameshvarīm Bhagavatīm
buddhipradām Shāradām
I bow to Goddess Sarasvatī,
who gives the best of religious thoughts,
who is omnipresent,
who holds the vīnā and book (symbolising knowledge),
who makes us fearless,
removes ignorance,
who wears a necklace of crystal,
whose throne is a white lotus and who bestows wisdom
Vasudevasutam Devam
Kamsachāchanūramardanam
Devakīparamānandam
Krushnam vande Jagadgurum
I bow to Lord Krushna,
the son of Vasudeva,
killer of Kamsa and Chanur,
who gives utmost bliss to Mother Devakī
and who is the Guru of the entire universe.

Gurudevo Maheshvarah
Guru Sākshāt Parabrahma
tasmai ShrīGurave namah
Guru is Lord Brahmā, the Creator,
Guru is Lord Vishu, the Sustainer,
Guru is Lord Mahādeva, the Destroyer (of ignorance),
Guru is actually the Supreme.
I bow down and salute such a Guru.
Nāraynam namaskrutya Naram chaiva Narottamam
Devīm Sarasvatīm Vyāsam tato jayamudīrayet
Salute Nārāyan, Narottam, Goddess Sarasvatī
and Lord Vyās and then proclaim holy thoughts.
